Who are we?
JCS Business Solutions is part of a group of companies including JobConnection Services, Inc and AMS Staff Leasing. JCS has over 10 years of experience in the PEO industry and provides solutions to dozens of employers throughout the area, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Our experienced staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and understands the complex landscape of PEOs.
JCS has offices located in Allentown, Bangor, Palmerton, Pittston, Scranton, and Tamaqua, PA, as well as Clifton, Dover, Passaic, and Paterson, NJ.
AMS Staff Leasing was founded in 1991 with a mission to provide employers with an alternative to the traditional employer/employee relationship. This approach allows business owners and executives to focus on core competencies while AMS focuses on the Human Resources solution.
What is a PEO?
A Professional Employer Organization (PEO) enables a business to outsource the management of payroll and workers' compensation. This allows the business to save money in these areas, as well as grow their business by focusing on their core competencies.
A PEO provides integrated services to not only effectively manage critical human resource responsibilities, but to also mitigate employer risks. PEOs assume liability if an employee is injured on the job or if any other legal issues arise, as well as ensure compliance with all employment and OSHA laws and regulations.
A PEO accomplishes all of these things by establishing and maintaining an employer relationship with employees and contractually assuming certain employer rights, responsibilities, and risk, while the client company continues to direct the employees' day-to-day activities. As the legal "employer of record" for your entire staff, the PEO hires your employees and leases them back to you.
